Make the Pepperoni Roses: Grab a shot glass. Place the pepperoni slice on the rim, half inside and half outside the glass. Add the next slice of pepperoni halfway over that one, then halfway over the next, using 10 slices total per rose.

Push the pepperoni slices against the inside and outside of the shot glass, which will help keep the roses formed.

Assemble the Charcuterie Board: Arrange the crackers onto your board, starting from the top left, then stacking down on an angle, 1-2 inches from the bottom right corner.

Variations

  • Use other fresh fruit like strawberries.
  • You can also use different meats to make the roses. Try salami roses instead.
  • Use any heart-shaped chocolate: white, milk, or dark chocolate.
  • Add your favorite cookies, and heart-shaped macarons would also be perfect for this board.
  • Use other small candies.

Tips & Tricks

  • When initially slicing the cheese, you can do 2 or 3 slices instead of one to make the cheese a bit thinner.
  • You’ll need a small heart-shaped cutter for the cheese. You could use the smallest one of these.
  • This cutting board is similar in size to the one I used.
